Meteorite - The Stone That Fell

Meteorite - The Stone That Fell

At 3:13 AM, something fell in the desert.

No light. No sound. Just a black crater, still warm.

We did not design a sofa that looks like a meteorite. We found a meteorite that happens to be a sofa.

Look at it. Five stones fused into a perfect ring. Pitted, porous, like lava that cooled a million years ago. No front. No back. Only an orbit. That is Meteorite.

It does not belong in a living room. It belongs where light falls from above.

In a concrete rotunda. Under a circular sky. Like a James Turrell skyspace. Like Tadao Ando's Church of Light. Light moves. Stone stays. You sit inside the impact and the room disappears.

We call the skin Obsidian. Not fabric. It absorbs light. In sun it is black rock. At night it is a shadow.

This is not for people who need a sofa.

It is for people who collect fallen things. An architect who collects models. A gallerist who collects emptiness. Someone who wants one object in a concrete house that makes guests stop talking.

It is not soft like Mofu Cat. It is grounding. Like earth holding a stone.

Where would you let it land?

  1. A private gallery with nothing else in it.

  2. A desert house where outside is already meteorite.

  3. A penthouse under a skylight, where morning draws a perfect circle on its crater.

Some objects are bought. Some are found.

Meteorite was found.
